Eighties. Hockey Championships. Germany. Hockey player Gustav Peterka meets his former coach Jirka Beránko, who emigrated here.

Jirka works in the development of Kluber chemistry and Gustav takes home samples that he presents in Zlín shoe companies.

Gustav and his wife soon need to expand forces. Friends Zbyněk Křupka, Lubomír Lukašík, Josef Iž and Ivo Markytán join the story of Spectra — and he brings with him enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things that still accompany us, thanks to this willingness we have gained knowledge for composites, die casting, thermoplastics and polyurethanes production.

Spectra is growing. Customers, the breadth of the portfolio and the people who make up the company. Our sons, sons-in-law, nephews, and close acquaintances are coming -- and So far, Spectra is a family company that continues into the next generations.
